Convenors are free to use whatever platform they prefer to allow virtual participation in the seminars. However, if you would like to use Johannes Gutenberg University's own video conferencing platform, we have prepared links for each seminar below.
The software is called Big Blue Button. It works very much like Zoom or Google Meet.
To start a virtual meeting, convenors/moderators require a password. Participants need to enter a (different) password as well. Convenors can ask for the moderator as well as the participants' password at the conference office and then distribute the participants' password. This should ensure that each session remains private.
